The Value of Time

Tamim was lazy since childhood. He did everything late. His mother would say, "Tamim, finish your homework first, then play."

Tamim would say, "Hey, Mom, I'll do it later." The days would pass by just saying "I'll do it later" and "I'll do it later."

One day his friends said, "Come on, let's do a group study."

Tamim said, "You study, I'll study alone later."

But later he didn't study alone.

On the day of the exam, he opened the book and saw — everything was unfamiliar! He was very tense.

While taking the exam, his head was spinning. He got bad results.

The teacher said, "Tamim, if you don't do your homework on time, this is what will happen. You should never be lazy in important matters like studies."

These words were deeply embedded in Tamim's mind. He went home and said to his mother,

“Mom, I won’t be late anymore. From now on, I will do all my work on time.”

Tamim now wakes up every morning, does his homework regularly, and studies with his friends.

His results are now very good. His teachers, friends, and even his parents are very happy.
