Shamim was very clever, but sometimes he lied. One day, he told the teacher in class that his homework was lost, even though he hadn't actually done it.
The teacher believed him and said, "Okay, bring it tomorrow."
The next day, Shamim lied again, "Sir, my notebook got wet and ruined in the rain!"
Thus he kept lying every day. One day the teacher got suspicious and talked to his father. When Shamim was caught, he felt ashamed and said, "I will never lie again."
Moral lesson: If you lie, one day the truth will be revealed and people will stop believing you.
